In reaching out to the lost..

Don't always be in a hurry to elicit a response...

When you check Acts well, you'd see that the gospel was never preached in a hurry..

There were times it took hours..
There were times it took days..

In Paul's ministry, after teaching for hours, there were times he was asked to come again another time to re-teach..

Such is the patience that the preaching of the gospel demands..

That is the reason they were able to get good disciples. Their converts UNDERSTOOD what salvation is about, so they knew what they were saying YES to.

What we call the facts of the gospel today were detailedly explained to those the apostles preached to...

Why salvation?
How did salvation happen?
What does it entail?
Etc

There are certain arguments about salvation that you will never find in scriptures because the people were well taught when they were reached...

Nobody came to church and started asking..."are you now saying"?

If we preach the gospel well, patiently so, the sinner would properly understand the value of the redemption he is receiving

And this pleases God.
