Are you feeling left behind?

No one is ever ahead, and no one is behind. We have our own timeline of events in life. As long as we keep moving, we will also achieve at our own pace and time.

If you are feeling left behind, you are possibly looking at people who are at a similar stage of life but ahead of you. They might have progressed in life and achieved their goals while you are still getting ready to start. This delay might bring a feeling of lack within yourself. The feeling of lack often brings disappointment and makes you doubt your self-worth. You should always remember that no one has ever made it to the end without a beginning. As long as you begin, even though you may be slow, you will also reach.

Don't compare your life with others, it is ok to start late or be slow. Life doesn't have a timeline for when everything should happen. As long as you give it a go, you create a possibility that you can make it happen.

RESPONSIBILITY

It is said by a prominent teacher of the Christian faith that responsibility is the ability to respond to the needs and demands around you (Response-Ability).
Ask yourself, "Am I responsible? Am I really? Or its only seen in my dress sense and composure, do I really respond?"
In a vast study of adult education, it is said that, "The definition of adulthood is responsibility"
Let this sink into your soul today that you're only a big boy or a big girl to the extent of how you respond to the needs around you.
Why should you contemplate marriage or any serious relationship when you're not ready to take responsibilities? Why should you pray and desire to lead just for the titles, benefits and honorarium? This shouldn't be.
When you see people who are in need, what happens to you? Do you show compassion? Are you for once moved? When you see the multitude of people who are victims of several circumstances, how do you react? Do you just ignore them and move on? If yes, then it means you need to upgrade your sense of responsibility.
Aunty, That little shoe is not too big to buy for your next door neighbour who has none.
Uncle, why should you wait until you get the millions before you begin to care for your parents? No! Start from where you are. Appreciate them while you still have them around.
What should you do? How do you become responsible if you really haven't? It will have to start with your DECISION.
Decide to respond to the new around you. Decide to respond by every means, respond with a smile, respond with money, respond with sweet gracious words.
Decide to respond! Because you have the ability already. Its in you!
