Today after my ministration i was having a fatherly & Sonship discussion with my Able son in the lord : EVANG SAMUEL OJEDOKUN.

THE TREASURE IN THE FATHERS
Carrying a Father’s Burdens as a Son in Ministry
True sonship is not proven by closeness to a father’s microphone, but by willingness to carry his burdens.
Many want impartation, access, and visibility, but few desire responsibility.
A genuine son in ministry does not only celebrate the grace upon his father he helps to protect the burden behind the grace.
When Moses grew weary, Aaron and Hur understood that leadership also has weak moments.
They did not criticize his weakness; they lifted his hands.
A true son discerns when his father is under pressure.
He does not add to the weight; he becomes part of the strength.
There are burdens fathers carry that sons may never fully understand:
✓ The burden of preserving God’s people
✓ The burden of spiritual attacks
✓ The burden of disappointments and betrayals
✓ The burden of maintaining purity in ministry
✓ The burden of standing before God for a generation
Many sons desire mantles, but mantles rest upon those who can carry burdens.
Elisha did not merely follow Elijah publicly; he served him faithfully.
Joshua stayed around Moses even in difficult seasons.
Timothy became a trusted son because he genuinely cared for Paul’s burdens and assignment.
A true son in ministry:
Protects his father’s honor
Defends the vision
Serves with loyalty
Prays secretly for his father
Refuses to become a source of grief
Some sons only want recognition, but kingdom sonship is built on (3S)Sacrifice, service, and spiritual understanding.
The strength of many ministries is not only in the father, but also in sons who understand covenant responsibility.
Scriptures:
“Bear ye one another’s burdens...” Galatians 6:2
“Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands...” Exodus 17:12
“For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.” Philippians 2:20
“A wise son maketh a glad father...” Proverbs 10:1
Deep Lessons:
✓ True sons help to reduce burdens, not increase them.
