ADOSA ( ARMY-DAY OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION 2014/2015 SESSION)

ADOSA members visited Almer-mater to mark 7years anniversary on 15th June 2022 with the distribution of note books to students and teachers alike.

The visitation which was led by Comr. Iyanagbe Opipi Oshoke Innocent the Interim President of the association was gracefully accompanied by Comr. John Asegiemhe the Secretary, Comr. Osaiki Jubril the Interim Vice President, and Comr. Johnson Okpo the Financial Secretary. Others members who accompanied the executives are; Emoh Faith, James Bosede, and Peter Favour Peter, all members of ADOSA.

The visit was scheduled to take place in the month of June as part of the 7years anniversary celebration of the old students association 2014/2015 session.

This was followed by the distribution of 40, 60 and 80 leaves notes books to both teachers and students alike, with over 600 printed copies.

The association was warmly welcome by the staffs, students and even the 195batallion community Agenebode, Edo State.

The visit smoothly started with a close meeting between the ADOSA members and staff of the school, where the reason for the visitation was clearly stated by the members of the association.

The close meeting was followed by the calling and gathering of the entire students of the school in an unprecedented assembly were the President and the Secretary of the association addressed the gathering on the reason for the Visitation and some piece of advice.

This was accompanied by the distribution of the note books. After which prayers were offered by two selected students of the school mark the close of the ceremony.

Great Adosa!......... Unity is Strength!!

Adosa representatives led by Comr. Innocent Iyenagbe the Executive President of Adosa went to Army Day Secondary School today for a formal visit to the school. The spokesperson Comr. AJ Asegiemhe Presented the official logo of Adosa to the Principal of the school, this was after Mr President has briefed the Bursar of the school about our intention to make this forum recognized and established.

We had some discussions with the school principal and staffs as well. And we specially invited one of the staff who happens to be an Old Student of the school (1986 Set) to our Adosa annual general meetings AGM come on the 26th of December 2020.

Some gifts items of soft drinks, win and biscuit's were presented by the delegates to the Bursar, Principal and other staffs well present.

The principal showed a surprised shock with a notation that no Set since he became the principal of that school for over 10 years has ever done or took such bold step we took in coming not only to appreciate the school authority but also most importantly for coming together as one to set up an association of charity.

This was our conclusion after todays visit to our Old School and discussions with the school principal and staff:

1. That Adosa is recognized.

2. The 1986 Set have been meeting, and

3. That the 2015 Set have gone beyond other Set's in creating such forum of good will and benevolence.

4. That we should meet up with the 1986 Set on the 28th of December and discuss a way forward with them if they can be of any help of Monetary to our Set. This will be after our general meetings of on the 26th.

5. That we can still maintain our 2015 Set Adosa annual general meetings AGM even if we merged the association with other Set other than ours to become one.

6. Lastly, the principal informed us about the school organizing intersport competition next year.
