All we request from the Nigerian Senate & House of Representatives is that the proposed funds for vaccines and immunization be left as proposed. We have evidence that what was proposed is sufficient and will be made up by funding from donors and loans. However, we need to know that we have begun Gavi transition this year and it means that over the next 5 years till 2021, donor funding support for Vaccines will progressively reduce while it is expected that Government of Nigeria will increase its funding for Vaccines and immunization.
