BABY SPINACH.

This super - cold - hardy vegetable crop, very tender edible flowering plant in the family of AMARANTHECEAE, also nicknamed in some locality as water - leaf, with is Binomial name as Spinacia Oleracea. Baby spinach is extremely versatile and can be enjoyed many ways. To reap the benefits of this super food, you should include it more in your diet.
Baby spinach is high in vitamin A, K, and folate, which is very important for woman of child bearing age, because it helps to prevent neural tube defects in developing babies. It contains lutein, a carotenoid that aids with vision health and acts as a natural antioxidant to protect your body from toxins and free radicals, it also help your digestive tract because of the glycoglycerolipids in it.
Baby spinach is a nutrient - rich vegetable you can add to a range of dishes. Include matured leaves in sandwiches, lasagna, pizza, soups, salads and smoothies.
Planting it is the easiest part, either the seeds or the stem, it could adapt to all season, with the provision of water and good humus soil. You could actually add it to one of the vegetables in your garden.

Starting a rabbitry enterprise, you need to look beyond there cuteness and fluffy nature when you are raising them for meat purpose.
● HEALTH: You need to avoid rabbits with contagious diseases. Diseases like snuffles, mallocclusion of teeth, splay etc.
● AGE: there are advantages & disadvantages to buying both junior (under 6 months) and senior rabbits (above 6 months). Young rabbits with good pedigree will start off better at 10weeks, ie, mature quickly, better quality, large litters & carcass size.
● PEDIGREE: without a pedigree, it's impossible to determine whether the rabbit is truly a purebred or not.
*Characteristics - Colour/Ideal weight/Bloodline/Ancestors/Accomplishment/Licensed, tattoos or registered rabbit.
● BACKGROUND : Background of the senior brooding doe during pregnancy matters, considering the habit of the grandmother rabbit, how she feeds during pregnancy, how many kitten per litter, how she build her nest box and many more. .
● PRICE : The purchase price is often the least expensive part of owing a rabbit. Once rabbits are in your care, you will need to be able to pay for feed, litter monitoring, housing & veterinary expenses.
● ATTITUDE : Real passion must be involved, unlike any other livestock, they need extra attention and assessment, regular feeding(dry & greens), adequate clean water, regular grooming (fur & nails). Your attitude will determine your productivity & profitability.

BASIC FACTS ABOUT RABBIT'S.

● Rabbits are not Rodents, they are "Lagomorphs", A male rabbit is called a "Buck", while Female is called a "Doe", while baby rabbits are "kittens".
● Gestation period is 31days.
● A rabbit teeth never stop growing.
● When a Doe gives birth, her babies are collectively referred to as a "Litter"
● American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) has 45 recognised breeds of rabbits.
● Rabbits can be trained.
● They can live as long as 10 years (with proper care) still with the tendency to reproduce.
● Rabbits cannot Vomit.
● Kittens are born without fur, eyes do not open until about 10 days.
● They need hay to assist the digestive system and prevent fur balls in their stomach.
● Does typically only feed their kittens about 5 minutes a day.
● Rabbit meat is lower in fat, cholesterol and calories than chicken, beef, mutton, pork.
● Rabbit droppings make an excellent garden fertiliser than poultry or cow dropping.
● They have 28 teeth.
● A 4pound rabbit will drink as much water as a 20 pound dog, so water is very necessary for healthy growth.
● They love to chew. Rabbit don't Hibernate.
● Rabbits can start breeding as early as 3 to 4 months old, depending on the weight.
● Does will pull their fur when pregnant to assist in the building of nest.
● They groom themselves, they don't need a bath.
● Domestic rabbits cannot breed with wild rabbits. Wild ones hardly survive at home.
● The only place a rabbit sweats is through their Pads on its feet.
● Feeding them for healthy table size, will involve quality pellets, fresh grass, fresh water and other nice treats.
● Rabbits should have fresh hay available always, for proper weight gain in younger ones, feed them more with pellets.
