Day One 🥹💚

A huge thank you to all the art lovers who came out yesterday to experience the beauty of art with us.

If you’re in Lagos, come see my new works in person. I’ll be displaying some pieces that explore my ongoing ideas about self-awareness, identity, and growth.

Viewing continues until 8th March at the Eco Bank Pan-African Centre, Victoria Island.

Looking forward to seeing some new and familiar faces ✨

For me, texture is where it all begins.

Before colours, emotions, or narrative, I focus on building a rich surface. I love how texture adds depth, movement, and a solid base that brings the painting to life.

Texture is more than just a background - it guides how the paint settles and how the story unfolds.

Should I share my texture paste mixing process?

In 2023, I had the privilege of organising a painting session for Plan International Nigeria as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

Beyond creativity and colour, that gathering created space for conversation, reflection, and community, a reminder that advocacy can take many forms, including art.

As we mark this year’s 16 Days of Activism, the message remains the same: every effort counts. Whether through policy, programmes, or simple moments that encourage expression and awareness, we all have a role in challenging gender-based violence and supporting safer communities.

I’m proud to contribute to this work, and even more grateful for the people and organisations who continue to push for change. The commitment must continue, beyond these 16 days.
