AMLSN COMMEMORATES INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE (UHC) DAY 2023

Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is an issue of global importance that requires the deployment of renewed and specific political policies and strategies that are targeted at making good health/well-being a right for all and not privilege for a few.

The theme for this year is HEALTH FOR ALL: TIME FOR ACTION

The policies to be enacted must guarantee even-handed access to essential services without financial distress. Often, awful health expenditures have continued to impoverish many households in the quest for health.

AMLSN in collaboration with government, private sector, civil society, NGOs, etc shall consider the evaluation of challenges and opportunities in advancing UHC and push to hold our leaders accountable.
We will engage policy makers to deliver on their UHC commitments.
