Every pickup tells a story of hope.

Today, the Nutrition Officer from Rigasa PHC - one of our supported facilities, came in to pick up nutritious food supplies that will soon be in the hands of families who need them most.

It's a simple but vital step in improving maternal and child nutrition, made possible through TY Danjuma Foundation collaboration, commitment, and a shared vision of healthier communities.

💚 One pickup. Countless lives impacted.

As we close out June, we reflect on a month defined by meaningful partnerships, strategic engagement, and measurable impact across the communities we serve.

This month, the TY Danjuma Foundation:
🔹 Participated in the 10th East Africa Philanthropy Conference (EAPC 2026), contributing to important conversations on localisation, legitimacy, and community-led development.

🔹 Presented at the TDR meeting in Geneva, showcasing the impact and lessons from the Goodwill Medical Centre model.

🔹 Strengthened primary healthcare by training and equipping Community Health Centres to deliver quality healthcare services.

🔹 Empowered 64 Community Health Ambassadors, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to promote healthier communities.

🔹 Supported the launch of a cassava processing project in partnership with UN Women and ATRED, advancing sustainable livelihoods and women's economic empowerment.

🔹 Expanded access to healthcare through free medical outreaches, bringing essential health services closer to underserved communities.

Every milestone achieved this month reflects the power of collaboration and our unwavering commitment to improving lives through strategic philanthropy in health, education, and community development.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our partners, grantees, stakeholders, and the communities we serve for making these achievements possible.

Together, we continue to build healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.

On June 18, 2026, the TY Danjuma Foundation took the global stage at the 49th Session of the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The presentation underscored the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) through strategic, high-impact investments. Central to this showcase was the construction and equipping of the Goodwill Medical Centre in Enugu State.

This flagship project is designed to deliver equitable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare services, directly addressing the critical needs of underserved populations in the region.
