First hour- 7 AM
Second hour- 8 AM
Third hour- 9 AM
Fourth hour- 10 AM
Fifth hour- 11 AM
Sixth hour- Noon
Seventh hour- 1 PM
Eighth hour- 2 PM
Ninth hour- 3 PM
Tenth hour- 4 PM
Eleventh hour- 5 PM
Sunset 6 PM
First watch of the night: 6 PM - 9 PM
Second watch of the night: 9 PM - 12 midnight
Third watch of the night: 12 midnight - 3 AM
Fourth watch 3 AM - 6 AM

So you can easily track what Bible means when it says the apostles prayed at the ninth hour, for example.
