This morning I want to encourage you in the Lord. There are just some times in our lives when we are down, frustrated, confused, tired, exhausted, afraid of what the future holds, clueless of tomorrow, unhappy and discouraged.
Maybe today you are in this category or you are just simply 'flat'.
Everything looks so dry, boring and unexciting. You are just coping & living everyday as it comes.
Maybe you are in a heart sinking debt, have a bad health condition, a dear one has a frightening diagnosis, your academics is not good, you've just been jilted, frustrated by constant quarrels in your marriage or relationship, you have unanswered questions, life may seem so cruel, don't give up, don't sink into depression because God is ready to help you. Let these words today soothe your heart.

Heb 13:6
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

4 reasons why you should be encouraged

1. God is faithful
Psa 92:15 [They are living memorials] to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. [Rom 9:14].

God is faithful to all His promises to keep them. No matter what He will cause it to pass. Don't doubt his ability to perform what He said in His word concerning you. Don't let your situation dictate to you what your future holds. It does not matter how hard the issue looks, what matters is the greatness of your God. So ask yourself, how great is my God?

2. God will never leave you nor forsake you
You matter and mean so much to God. You may not feel like that but that is the truth. Your redemption cost God His only beloved son dying for you. Jesus suffered so much before and during his crucifixion just for you, just because he loves you. No greater love has a man than He laid down his life for his friends. Now, no matter what happens, sins, affliction etc, He can't give up on you or reject you. You are His. His love is greater than that of a true mother.

3. God will always make a way
Our God is the wonderful way maker. If He can make a way in the wilderness and sustain a whole nation there for 40 years, then He can chart a way for you. Have you ever heard of making a way through the sea? Parting the Red Sea to dry land for His people to escape from their enemies? No matter the source of your discouragement, always remember God will make a way for you.
He will deliver, set free, send help, be merciful, kind, gracious, loving and take care of you.

4. Your future and situation will turn out good
We get discouraged when our present situation seems overwhelming.
But God said, Jer 29:11
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Your final outcome is going to be beautiful, no matter what the present is. The final outcome is what matters most, and that part is what God has decided to take care of. God usually handles the most difficult part.
Once you believe and are sure of all these that God can and will do for you, your situation is not big enough to get you permanently discouraged. Even if you have being discouraged, now is the time to encourage yourself in the Lord and start rejoicing and get back to hoping in His mercies.
He will turn things around for your good. He will fill your mouth with singing, He will give you a new dance step because he will turn your captivity round and give you double for your trouble, the devil is a liar.

My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will comfort and encourage your heart in Jesus Name. Amen!
Have a glorious Day ahead..

GODS GOODNESS IS COMING

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Psalm 27:13

Despondency is a tool the devil uses to steal people’s vision. He injects this poison into a man’s heart through the experience of loss and suffering. That today is bad and the future looks bleak does not mean that your tomorrow will be terrible. As long as you are in Christ, you can rest assured that your tomorrow will be alright. Don’t give up on your vision! Even if the devil stole a particular blessing from you, don’t give him your vision. Dry up your tears because you need clear eyes to see new opportunities that God is giving to you. In fact, the avenue to your recovery can be around you as we speak, but as long as your eyes are flooded with tears, you will see only the situation and not the opportunities. Has the enemy taken everything from you like he did to job? That could just mean that like Job, you too are going through a trial of your faith. Don’t give up on God! Don’t let the devil take your joy, because the joy of the Lord is your strength. The knowledge that God is with you in that particular situation, and that the devil has clear boundaries with regards to the extent and timing of your trial should comfort your heart (Job 1:12 & 2:6). Make sure that like Job, after your trial, you emerge as gold. In addition to putting an end to tears, you also need to encourage yourself in the Lord (1st Samuel 30:6). To succeed in life and in the Christian race set before you, don’t be surprised that in the midst of certain situations, the things or people you thought you would draw great motivation from could end up becoming the source of great discouragement.

In 1st Samuel 30:4-6, after David had wept over his losses, he encouraged himself in the Lord. This shows that he remembered God’s unlimited ability after he had lost all hope in his own ability. Hope and strength came to him after this. No wonder he confessed in Psalms 27:13 that:

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”

David went through situations that swallowed his hope and made him despair even of life, but when he remembered who God is, what He had done and what He could do, his hope came alive again. He therefore declared that in spite of his current unpleasant situation, he would still experience the goodness of the Lord while alive, and it was so. Take courage, believe and confess that the negative situation you are currently experiencing will not kill you. Don’t allow it rob you of your tomorrow. You shall see God’s goodness in the land of the living in Jesus’ Name.
What you focus on in the time of trial will determine its effect on you. If you focus on your loss, you will lose strength, but if you focus on God, you will gain strength and hope.
The Book of Esther in the Bible teaches a wondrous truth. Amazingly, God is not mentioned even once in the entire Book. Yet, we see God's sovereignty and work throughout the entire Book. The lesson is simple—When you can't see the hand of God, trust the heart of God.
I can see A NEW DAWN...
Have a great weekend....

Jesus, the carpenter of Nazareth, changed the wood of the cross into the door to life. That is the very heart of the Good News – the cross has the power to transform us. Minus is turned to plus, negative to positive. Through the cross, darkness changes to light, death to life, hate to love, chains to freedom, fear to faith, despair to joy, brokenness to wholeness, and hell to heaven. Good evening...

Your certificate is not meant to pitch you against your creator. God did not send you to school with the plan to plant you in the camp of the devil. Don't let your career/job/passion be the reason men and women will end in hell. You cannot shut the door of Heaven against anyone and expect that same door to open to you IF YOU DO NOT REPENT. You cannot be running a night club and expect Heaven to be smiling at you. Men cannot be groaning in hell because of you and you think Heaven is beaming with smiles on you. REPENT AND BE CONVERTED!!!
