My advice to every young man of God is this: before submitting to any spiritual father, make sure you truly understand what submission means. Wait until you are mature enough before you submit. Don’t allow immaturity to push you into submission too early, because having problems with a spiritual father later is not a good thing.

Take your time and wait for the right moment. Submission means giving permission you no longer have full control over yourself for a season, because another man has spiritual authority over you for a period of time.
