World Food Day: Future Pathways Foundation donates Food items to IDP’s in Kuta, Shiroro LGA, Niger State.

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world in celebrating World Food Day in 2023, a non-governmental Organisation, Future Pathways Foundation, has donated Bags of Rice and Cash to IDP’s in Shiroro LGA.

The food distribution to the vulnerable is to commemorate the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, celebrated every year worldwide on October 16th.

Speaking while presenting the items on Sunday the 15th of October, 2023 at the IDP Camp Kuta, the founder Hajiya Sa’adatu Musa, represented by Hajiya Gogo Jummai explained that gesture was aimed at cushioning the hardship faced by the less privileged and the Displaced .

We realized that government alone can not do it all, but we need to find a creative way to strategically give them a means of livelihood.

The distribution of food is part of our ways of supporting less privileged in rural communities.

Mallam Lukman Alkali also part of the delegation called on other NGOs and religious Organizations , especially the well to do to redouble efforts in assisting the poor and less privileged in society to reduce poverty in the country.
