HOW TO HAVE GOD'S WORD UNFOLDING TO YOU

The unfolding of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple.
— Psalm 119:130

Jesus said, "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me" (John 5:39). This is a conscious looking for what the promises are so to live by them. It's the Holy Ghost who unfolds the the scriptures and helps us to live by them.

Whatever you want to know about life and godliness is a light out of God's Word. Once the Word is unfolded to you you have got the light for faith. We know that faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ. You need to have the light of God's Word streaming on your to cause faith in you.

Growth in the faith of Jesus is of the streaming of the light of His Word. We see the light of His Word in our born again spirits. Yeah, the Word is always streaming light for all aspects of life, but it could be felt and worked with when you come out in faith for whatever the Word says in respect to your circumstances.

Understanding of wisdom and knowledge is an active effect of the light that came out of the Word of God for you. Ask God always for His Word to be unfolded to you concerning life and godliness.

So long you have no working knowledge of the Word of God you are tagged as simple and unproductive where the use of the Word is concerned. But light makes you an active doer of the Word.

Growing up to the full stature of the knowledge of Christ is of the unfolding of God's Word. Live having your spirit and mind lighted by the light of God's Word. This is how to delve into discoveries that matter to you in life.

GOD IS IN CHRIST, OUR FAITH

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their transgressions against them, and having placed in us the word of reconciliation… we are ambassadors for Christ, as God is pleading through us. We beg you on behalf of Christ be reconciled to God
2 Corinthians 5:17‭-‬20

At the finished work of Jesus God Himself personally gave up His glory and allowed Himself to be killed. To the devil, it was an amazing opportunity to seize the throne he has lusted for. But with God all are possible. Even when He vulnerable to death His throne couldn't be stolen.

"Have this way of thinking in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although existing in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a slave, by being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross" (Philippians 2:5‭-‬8 LSB).

Every opposition to the faith of God in Christ has argued that Christ couldn't be the principal doorway to having faith in God. But that's unlearned where the wisdom of God is concerned to belittle how far God could go to restore man perfectly to Himself. He did not only choose the Messiah, He also saw that He was personally in Him to have the man's salvation perfectly carried out. And He did.

The importance of Christ as the very faith that we have in God cannot be overemphasized. For our reconciliation to God happened because God came down to see that in Christ the reconciliation was eternally an order of God. It is the ignorant that question the working of God in Christ, meanwhile he is going about to establish acceptability with God by his own hands.

Of the truth, I am thankful to God that by the means of God's deed in Christ I have been made an ambassador for Christ. This is my way of begging you on behalf of Christ, take a consciencious view of God's salvation plan, and you be reconciled to God. In recognition of God's sovereign wisdom and power to save using His Messiah, I appeal to you to unite yourself to God, believe in Christ Jesus, that is how you believe in God.

THE REIGN OF THE LORD ESTABLISHES RIGHTEOUSNESS

Yahweh reigns, let the peoples tremble; He sits enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth quake! Yahweh is great in Zion, And He is exalted above all the peoples. Let them praise Your great and awesome name; Holy is He.

But seek first His kingdom [sovereignity] and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Matthew 6:33

There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,On the throne of David and over his kingdom,To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore.The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.

The sustenance of all things is enshrined in the enthronement of God, the LORD. The working righteousness in man is that that recognizes that the LORD is forever enthroned. Jesus established this by saying that in making the kingdom, that is, the sovereignity of God, one's priority is the key to all prosperity or increase.

Believe in your heart and proclaim the reign of God over your life and over all that you have to do. The throne of God being your faith puts above all other authorities in heavens and on earth.

Did you know that Lucifer turned into the devil, the adversary because he worked and is still working to void the dominion of God? Every righteous act that doesn't put God above all, is no righteousness acceptable with the LORD God. Whatever blessing a believer enjoys is gotten out of God. You must seek the reign of God to be blessed by Him.

The name of the LORD, the name of Jesus, the scepter of the LORD's sovereignty. One who uses the name is declaring the LORD as being over all. Serve the LORD in the knowledge of His Word. Be wiser than the devil would like to have you ignorant of the truth.

Any organization and people who deny the sovereignty of God is of the devil.

THE SECURITY IS IN THE LIFE OF JESUS

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
— Romans 5:10

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord
And whose trust is the Lord."
— Jeremiah 17:7

For these past few days we have been viewing the technicality of faith. I still want us to go into details of trust in the LORD, and making the LORD one's trust.

Do you remember that one who ran into the city of refuge was saved while in the city? But if he thought he could get security elsewhere apart from the city of refuge, and the avenger of blood saw outside of the city of refuge, he was free to kill him. Therefore, the only sure place for one running from the avenger of blood was to remain in the city of refuge for certain numbers of years.

While he was running to the city of refuge, he trusted that if he got into the city before the avenger of blood caught up with him he was saved/blessed. But while in the city, he needed to make the city his trust to be alive, for outside of the city he would be a dead man.

Do you see what the book of Romans 5:10 says? We were separated from God, and the avenger of blood was after us to steal, kill and destroy. But then God gave the name of Jesus for salvation for all those who have become His enemies due to transgression in Adam, and therefore become vulnerable to attacks of the devil. You can call on the name of the LORD and be saved and reconciled with God.

Being reconciled with God, your sure security is in Christ Jesus. The life of Jesus has become safe for all that remains in Him. That is making the LORD your trust. This is all round security, making the name of the LORD your strong tower/refuge.

It is amazingly shocking that many people have run into the name of Jesus but they lacked faith in dwelling there securely. They are jeopardizing their lives by believing in security elsewhere. That is like walking out of the city of refuge before the set time for ultimate salvation.

Having been reconciled with God, our security, whatever it represents, is the life of Jesus. Make His name your trust…
