BE INTENTIONAL

For some reasons I didn't want to write on this but I feel it is very important I share so we can be more intentional about the things we do

So yesterday at my workplace as part of the company's tradition new employees are called out to introduce themselves and say a few things about themselves before other staffs. This feeling is to foster team work and to establish some kind of connection among staff members

While the introduction was going on, we were asked to say a unique thing about ourselves.

So we all came out to say one or two about ourselves. As usual it is the case of different people with different identify and purpose but there is this particular impression from one of us that didn't really go well with me.

When asked to say one unique thing about her. I was shocked to hear her say she is a Gold Digger!!! like with full confidence and am sure I wasn't the only one who was surprised about her claim. Well maybe her view of a gold digger is not what we have suggest it to be however she didn't mention if she meant it differently.

My dear friends and great minds please it is important we filter the things we say or do in the public space.
Whenever you are given such an important as this, it is important you take advantage of that space to sell yourself aright.

Sell your potentials
Sell your gifts
Sell your ability
Sell your value
Sell your strength

The world is not looking for those that will add to the already existing problem but it is in search for people who can profer the best solution to our existing problem.

Take good advantage of the opportunities you have at hand to build a life for yourself.

Yes I know it's your life but think about the damage those actions of yours will cost you later.

At that moment people were cheering her up but trust me you don't want to hear the impression people already have about her personality and I can tell you it's not a good one. This is because people will still clap for you even when you are doing the wrong thing but right in their heart they already know and have an idea of who you are. So don't be surprised when those same people criticize you later.

This I say again BE INTENTIONAL

STORY TIME!!!

For some reasons at my work place today, we had to stay for like over 6 hours without working. At some point some of us were already praying for a work free day. because it is actually rare to have a day where we spend that amount of time without working.

During this long hours of waiting some took the advantage to settle one or two things they had to settle. Some resulted to watching movies, to some they had to take a walk around the office environment, some were dancing and recording videos on their phones and so on. However for me it was a different feeling entirely all that was in my mind at this point was WHAT can I do to profit myself, WHAT something of value can I engage in, WHAT can I do to maximize this golden opportunity. A lot of WHAT's and for some minutes I stayed thinking on what I can do. This became a burden to me because data was not a problem as I have all the access to data to search, read, and research whatever I want.

So while I was still thinking, I quickly remembered I needed to learn a particular skill in graphics design. Without wasting time I quickly dived into YouTube and began learning. Oh my God!!! it was such a great experience for me as I got to learn things I would've literally paid some amount of money to learn from others but guess what! I got to learn it for free today. I didn't just learnt for free but value was added. I felt fulfilled for the day and knowledge was well captured.

Why am I sharing this, you see it is not every free time that is meant for play time or fun time. There are some moments you don't joke with. Some moments are divine and come to us for a particular reason and when we missed those moments we may never recover it again. Now that you still have that time I beg you not waste it on things that adds little or no value to your life. Many people have missed the opportunity of becoming better because they fail to invest in themselves. Use that free to develop on yourself, add value to your life and watch the world celebrate you.

A wise man once said that you don't waste time but you only waste when you fail to make use of time. I pray we don't waste.

Make it a declaration. I WIIL NOT WASTE
