Dear Esteemed Passengers,

This is to inform you that the Warri Itakpe Train Service WITS 01 derailed at km 30 Ajaokuta Itakpe section of the track at About 12 :30hrs of Sunday 22nd January 2023.

There was No Fatality and No casuality.

All the passengers have been evacuated to safe place and arrangements was done to convey them to there various destination and have all gone. The Securities, Army, Police, NSCDC and the community vigilante were immediately drafted to the accident point with the assistant of the Local government Chairman.

The cause of derailment is not yet determined. Repair and operation will resume as soon as possible.

This is to inform you that there will be no Train movement on the Itakpe -Ujevwu route tomorrow 23rd December 2022 due to some technical issues. This MAY extend into the 24th of December 2022.

In view of the above, all confirmed passengers billed to travel tomorrow are hereby advised to send in their bank details for a refund and make alternative arrangements for their trip.

We apologize for the short notice and all inconvenience caused by this unexpected turn of events. We will continue to monitor and update you on developments as it relates with the resumption of our services.

Dear All,
The Nigeria Railway Corporation has increased Passenger’s Fares on the Standard Guage Train Services.

Economy ticket which was formerly N3,000.00 is now N5,000.00
Business Class(VIP) ticket which was formerly N5,500 is now N9,000.00

Consequently, Train Delight ticket rates (comprising of both vehicle and Train Fare) has increased.

Kindly note that the increase has nothing to do with Train Delight as we have only added the difference to our fare.
