The biggest threat to Peter Obi/Kwankwaso emerging as President and Vice next year is not Tinubu.

It’s Atiku.

It was Atiku that destabilized PDP in the last general election. He insisted on contesting in the primaries with his dollar bags when he was well aware that it’s the turn of the South. By so doing, he paved the way for Tinubu’s emergence as President.

As things stand now, the North and South are united in their support for Obi/Kwankwaso but guess what. OK may not even be on the ballot in 2027.

Atiku has made it clear that he’s not ready to step down for anybody. He could be working for Tinubu and we don’t even know it.

At this point, Peter Obi is in a tight corner. Either he bribes like everyone else or he jumps ship again to another party and what happened in 2023 will happen again.

But if ADC’s leadership gets OK to the ballot, Tinubu will be a goner even with all the state machinery in his pocket.
