Saying YES to every door will wear you out.
Not every opportunity is your opportunity.

There was a time I said yes to every opportunity.

Every speaking invitation

Every consulting request

Every “collaboration”

Why? Because I didn’t want to “miss out.”

But here’s what I learned (and the hard way too):

Saying yes to everything is a fast way to burn out.

In business and leadership, discernment is key.
Not every open door is meant for you.
Not every good thing is your thing.

I now ask myself: '
✅ Does this align with my long-term vision?
✅ Does this reflect my values?
✅ Will it multiply my impact, or just drain my energy?

When you become strategic about the doors you walk through, you create space for the right ones to open.

🙏🏽 Don’t be afraid to say no. The right opportunities don’t need to be chased — they recognize your value.

She almost gave up on her business.

Then this happened.

It started with a late-night message:

"Mr. Sobowale, we’ve done everything we can.

Nothing’s working.

We're almost ready to give up."

She was a young entrepreneur in her early 30s.

Passionate. Hardworking. Gritty.

✅ Built a step-by-step micro-expansion plan

And here’s the result:

Her revenue didn’t just grow, it quadrupled.

In less than 6 months.

But that’s not even the full story.

The real transformation? She now has clarity.

She knows where she’s going, and how to get there.

Here’s the truth I’ve seen over and over:

Most small businesses don’t need more hustle.

They need alignment.

Alignment between vision and action.

Systems that support growth and not drain energy.

A plan that fits the stage they’re in.

Hard work is important. But strategic work is powerful.
