AN ADVERTISER’S ENEMY

If you have been running online adverts in the last couple of years, you will notice that there is a particular set of spammers who claim to have tens of thousands of views on their own channel and therefore can help you get customers for your own business.
The annoying part is that they will not put a paid advert out there for would be customers to locate them but will be watching out for unsuspecting advertisers then, click on their adverts only to ask the advertiser to buy adverts from them.
I don't know the kind of sane advertiser who will jettison platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, Twitter, Google etc. to patronize an unknown spammer who has nothing to offer but to rip you of your hard earned money.
Money meant for investment in profitable advert to grow your business will just go down the drain like that?
I'm talking about the so called "WhatsApp Tv" operators.

Look at it this way;

1. It's obvious that if you spam me to ask for my advert business, that you are only going to showcase my offering to an audience you have equally spammed and that kind of traffic can never be qualitative.
2. It is common sense that if my whole online effort can go up in smoke in a twinkle of an eye because some good for nothing advert agent is spamming people with my offering and those of them that knows how the internet works will keep reporting my link and that's it, every platform gets my link blocked and I'm back to square one............Tofiakwa!
3. You can get sued by the aggrieved. Imagine the kind of trouble I'm talking about here while the agent you paid for advert but landed you in the problem will be walking about free.
4. When you guys click on someone's advert, you are killing the advertiser's business by wasting their Ad spend and they can never be happy with you.
5. I can go on and on concerning this matter but I believe you have gotten the idea and you can also do the math yourself.

I encourage these "WhatsApp Tv" guys to go legit and start running paid adverts to get clients for their business and stop spamming others.
They are still thriving because most Nigerian online users know next to nothing about cybercrime otherwise, most of you guys would have been behind bars and who knows who the scape goat will be........ Food for thought.
