Nation-building is sustained not only by policies and programmes, but by institutions that uphold standards, cultivate leadership, and inspire service.

It was in this spirit that the Federal Character Commission welcomed Brig. Gen. O.A. Ogunleye, Academy Registrar of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) and Professor Bolanle Joel Ajibua, Provost of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for a productive engagement at the Commission’s headquarters.

The Nigerian Defence Academy occupies a unique place in Nigeria’s development story, serving as a centre for learning, leadership, and character formation. The interaction highlighted the enduring importance of strong institutions in shaping capable leaders and supporting national aspirations.

The Commission values such opportunities for engagement and knowledge exchange as part of its broader commitment to strengthening the foundations of national unity and development.
