"For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield." (KJV)

Meaning of Divine Favour Divine favour is the supernatural grace, kindness, and approval of God that causes a person to receive blessings, opportunities, promotion, and help beyond their qualifications or efforts. It is God's hand upon a person's life that makes difficult things become easy and impossible situations turn into testimonies.
Divine favour is one of the greatest keys to acceleration because it causes God to open doors that no human being can shut. While others may struggle for years to achieve a goal, a person walking in God's favour can accomplish the same goal in a much shorter time. Favour breaks limitations, removes obstacles, and brings the right people into your life at the right time.
A person with divine favour may not have the best qualifications, the greatest experience, or the highest connections, but God's favour distinguishes them and gives them an advantage. Favour makes people willing to support you, recommend you, and bless you without expecting anything in return.
Biblical Examples of Divine Favour

1. Joseph – From Prison to the Palace Scripture: Genesis 39:21
"But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison."
Joseph experienced God's favour even in prison. Although he was wrongly accused, God's favour caused him to gain the trust of those in authority. In one day, God accelerated his destiny from being a prisoner to becoming the Prime Minister of Egypt. This shows that divine favour can change a person's story suddenly.
2. Esther – From an Orphan to a Queen Scripture: Esther 2:17
"And the king loved Esther above all the women... and set the royal crown upon her head."
Esther was an orphan, but God's favour distinguished her among many beautiful women. Instead of remaining an ordinary young woman, she became queen and was used by God to save the Jewish people. Divine favour positioned her where her destiny could be fulfilled.
3. Jesus Christ Scripture: Luke 2:52
"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."
Even Jesus grew in favour with both God and people. This teaches us that favour is essential for growth, influence, and fulfilling God's purpose.
