My husband and I went to the gas station and he requested that the car tank be filled up. While he was trying to reach out for his wallet I brought out my ATM card and paid.
I didn't know it would mean so much to him like it did. He said to me the only thing you will lack is what money cannot buy. Since I was born no one has done this for me. I have always been more on the giving side, those words touched me.
This happened when we were dating. From that moment I made up my mind to make our marriage a heaven on earth for my husband.
I sent him an anniversary alert a few days ago and he closed from work earlier than time because of excitement. He was speechless. And I made sure he consistently eats different delicacies without contributing any amount for them.
I will make sure I pay our children school fees before he does sometimes. So the bills in the family become light. When the bills at home are light, he can support God's kingdom more and even help the poor and needy.
I know he provides for me a lot and I may not match up adequately to him in terms of provision but I promise to support him significantly so much that, he will be most happy even when the chips are down.
If you have a good man in your life, be it your brother, husband or even father please support them. Be emotionally and financially present for them.
Men have emotions too. Pray and also pay bills for them. Encourage them with words.
Every year the margin of widows keeps increasing because these men succumb to death too quickly. I know a lot of factors are responsible for this but we cannot rule out societal pressures.
A responsible man will always think that he is a failure when he doesn't provide as much as he desires. That is where the proverb 31 in you needs to come in.
Make him feel safe in abundance and even in drought.
When a man is pleased, he will go the extra mile to ensure that his wife and family are eased.
