Chi and Agwu activation.

Is this Chi and Agwu Activation?

Someone sent a link to my inbox when I clicked it took me a post and this picture. The poster said. "As a man is your Chi and Agwu active" ? Implying that this structure is both Chi and Agwu. This is the problem.

One of the greatest dangers in spiritual matters is not the practice itself, is ignorance dressed as tradition. This is how many people and families become trapped in things they do not fully understand. They inherit practices without understanding the spirit behind them, and over time what began as a ritual becomes a spiritual bo***ge. Chi is not an idol. Chi is not a shrine. Chi is not an angry spirit sitting somewhere waiting for blood before it can function. Chi is the divine spark, the unique expression of life and destiny within a person. The personal spirit that determines the outcome of your life, It is part of your existence, not an external entity that must be fed with animal sacrifices.

The same misunderstanding exists around Agwu. Many people have reduced profound spiritual realities into physical objects, shrines, and blood rituals. They believe that by feeding something with blood they are strengthening their Chi or activating Agwu. In reality, they may be opening doors to spirits they neither know nor understand. Spirits respond to invitation. When people repeatedly dedicate a place, offer blood sacrifices, and establish a spiritual focal point, they are creating a habitation. Over time, generations may no longer remember what was originally invoked, yet they continue the practice out of ignorance.

Then the day a son or daughter stop feeding it, they are told that calamity will come because the spirits are angry. That is not freedom. That is captivity. Look closely at many family shrines. What started as a small sacred spot becomes a permanent structure. A small tree becomes a giant tree. The physical object remains, but the fear attached to it grows even larger. Future generations are then born into an agreement they never consciously made.
True spirituality should bring understanding, wisdom, and freedom, not continuous blood rituals, fear and dependence. Anything that convinces a person that their destiny, their Chi, or their connection to the Divine depends on constantly feeding an external entity with blood should be carefully questioned.

A person's Chi does not need animal blood to exist. Your Chi existed before any shrine was built and before any sacrifice was offered. The Source that gave you life did not create you incomplete and then leave your destiny dependent on feeding an altar. This is why spiritual understanding is important. Many people are not serving their Chi; they are serving traditions they inherited without ever asking what spirit is truly behind them.

What do I know? I'm just a spiritualist.

On this special day being Nkwor market day .

May Chukwu Okike Abiama, the Giver of life and destiny, open the gates of favour for us. May the earth beneath our feet yield goodness, and may the labour of our hands bring abundant rewards.
May no evil eye monitor our progress. May no jealousy, envy, or hidden trap stand against our blessings. Let every road we take today lead to peace, profit, and meaningful connections.
May our homes know joy and our children know protection. May sickness, lack, and untimely sorrow remain far from our households. What we seek with sincerity, may we receive with gratitude.
On this Nkwo market day, I declare:
We shall not labour in vain.
We shall reap where we have sown with honesty and diligence.
Doors of opportunities shall open before us.
Our names shall be remembered for favour and good testimony.
The blessings meant for us shall not pass us by.
Those seeking employment, contracts, customers, promotion, marriage, children, healing, and restoration shall receive divine remembrance.
Our families shall dwell in unity, peace, and prosperity.
May this Nkwo bring increase to the trader, wisdom to the leader, strength to the labourer, hope to the discouraged, and joy to every heart connected to this prayer.
As the sun rises and sets on this Nkwo market day, may our blessings multiply and our testimonies increase. May our paths be straight, our hands be fruitful, and our spirits remain steadfast.

Ụmụṅṅe’m today is Eke

Eke market day is not just another day in Igbo land, it is a symbol of a fresh beginning, unity, blessings, and gratitude. Today, we remember the footsteps of our forefathers who preserved these sacred traditions and handed them over for generations to come.

As the sun rises on this Eke day, may every pathway we follow lead to favor, open doors, and success. May the spirits of peace guide our homes, businesses, families, and journeys throughout this market cycle.

To those with pure hearts and honest intentions, may your efforts bring abundant rewards and testimonies worth celebrating. But for those who move with jealousy, hatred, and evil plans against others, may their evil return back to them.

Let this Eke market bring joy, protection, good health, and breakthrough into every home. May our baskets never be empty, and may our hands always find something meaningful to hold.

Happy Eke market day, umunnem. May this beginning bring light, peace, and abundance to us all.
