I think a part of who we are will always - ALWAYS - come from the people we meet, the places we go, and the experiences we go through. However, it is easy to believe that we will still be able to come back to these people, places and experiences, and often take them for granted - I know, for one, that I've done this as well! And...I guess...this is what conservation is - being able to save the special world we were born into and wishing we could go back to.
We deserve that and so do future generations.

One of my favourite things to do with my closest friends is go exploring in the great outdoors, and one of the best places to this is in Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary where we can make Covid-friendly memories with our loved ones!
My friend and I hiked to the top of Nyonyane Mountain/Execution Rock to experience some exceptional views. The trip was beautiful from beginning to end and is a true example of how we as a species can live in harmony with our natural surroundings on earth. Amazing!😀🦋🦓🌿🎋
(oh, and credits to my friend Lisha for her awesome photography skills!)

Hi there to all my followers and supporters! Apologies again for not posting in a while - who new starting your IGCSE course could be such a handful!
Anyways...let me show you a bit of what I've been up to lately!
One of the things I will always be so grateful to my parents for, is the fact that I've had the invaluable childhood where I got to grow up in Africa. I could list all of the benefits to growing up here for ages, but none would top the many outdoor memories I have made with family and friends. We love talking and laughing and smiling about past experiences that have changed us all forever.
Such moments will continue to be part of who we are and will bind us together way after we have all gone and went.
The other day, a group of us went camping in the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary caves on the Machobane trail. And I can certainly say that more of these special memories mentioned above were made!

In these tough times, it is essential to remember all the beautiful, special moments, things and people we have in our lives...these are the things worth fighting for.
Two of these things include family and nature : a blissful pairing that is seldom beaten. I had the great opportunity, over a long weekend, to see my dad, who my sister and I hadn't seen in 6 months.
So many of my important memories and decisions have been made in the soft hands of the outdoors! My dad and I love going on long walks in Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary (often having very deep convos!😆🥰) and enjoying the serene beauty around us.
It's great to take a minute every day or couple of days, to truly look around us and breathe in all the fortune and happiness life and nature have to offer...💙🥰
Here are a couple of pics I took while on our Sunday hike - hope you like them! xoxo
