Excelente! Para o Conselho de Direção da FASMO e para a participação de uma organização no XX Congresso Mundial da Federação Mundial de Surdos (WFD).

Sign languages are not universal. Each region and country has its own sign language that develops through community, culture, and shared experience.

These languages evolve over time and hold their own grammar, identity, and history.

Understanding this diversity is important for international cooperation. It ensures accurate communication, supports inclusion, and respects the leadership of deaf communities worldwide.

This principle will guide the XX World Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf, taking place in the United Arab Emirates in 2027.

The Congress will bring together deaf-led organisations, policymakers, and educators to strengthen human rights and promote sign languages as full, natural languages.

لغات الإشارة ليست لغة عالمية واحدة، بل لكل دولة ومنطقة لغتها الإشارية الخاصة التي تتطور من خلال المجتمع والثقافة والتجربة المشتركة. وتواصل هذه اللغات تطورها عبر الزمن، وتمتلك قواعدها اللغوية وهويتها وتاريخها.

إن فهم هذا التنوع يُعدّ أساسياً للتعاون الدولي، حيث يضمن تواصلاً دقيقاً، ويدعم الشمول، ويحترم دور مجتمعات الصم وقيادتها على مستوى العالم. ويشكّل هذا المبدأ مرتكزاً لـ المؤتمر العالمي العشرين للاتحاد العالمي للصم، الذي تستضيفه دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة عام 2027.

وسيعمل المؤتمر على جمع المنظمات التي يقودها الصم، وصنّاع السياسات، والمختصين، بهدف تعزيز حقوق الإنسان وترسيخ الاعتراف بلغات الإشارة بوصفها لغات طبيعية وكاملة.
