A Blessed Second Sunday of Advent!

The Second Sunday of Advent, known as the Bethlehem Candle, calls us to reflect on the journey of Mary and Joseph as they traveled to Bethlehem, trusting in God’s plan despite the challenges they faced.

This candle represents Faith and Peace, reminding us that true peace comes from surrendering to God’s will.

Mary and Joseph's journey was not easy—they walked in faith, carrying the promise of hope for the world. In their humble obedience, we see the quiet strength of trusting in God’s providence.

As we light the second candle, let us consider our own journeys. Are we making room in our hearts for Christ to dwell? Are we walking in faith, trusting that God is with us even when the road is difficult?

May this Advent season inspire us to prepare a place for Him, not in a manger but in the very depths of our hearts. And like Mary and Joseph, may we trust that every step we take is part of His divine plan.
