Our customers continue to receive scam calls from individuals disguising as personnel from AIA HQ Claims Department to request for personal and banking details in the pretence of processing claims payment.

We would like to urge all Leaders and Life Planners to reach out to your customers and remind them that

AIA would never request for our customers’ banking details over the phone.
Protecting our customers’ data and privacy in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 is our utmost priority.
There is no data breach or unwarranted disclosure of secure information.
We have taken the necessary steps such as reporting this incident to relevant authorities, reminders have been pushed to all customers with valid mobile numbers and email addresses to be cautious of such calls, in addition to reminders posted on AIA website, social media and My AIA app.
