Raso Studio Design and Build

Laman Tengah series continues.

Got this opportunity to design and build another Laman tengah series. The site is neighbouring to a prominent impressionism artist gallery, studio and home, Razak Abdullah of his Khaya Rendang, Rahman Putra, Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

The courtyard trademark this time will feature a sunken living whereby guests and visitors will spend the most of their time at. The mezzanine floor for family area at top of sunken area just pop up to give shade on bottom space. There is a narrow and long swimming pool proposed to add green features around the house.

For the house facade, the frontal concept is derived from the Malay Tanjak which is a significant symbol of the owner.
