One way to grow your social media following is by using IG Story format.

Use videos and photos that are engaging, but not too long. You want your content to be interesting enough that people stop scrolling through their stories and start watching what you have to say.

I’m going to tell you a story.

Once upon a time, I was that person. An absolute social media marketing prodigy. I post anything in stories without a strategy in mind. I sometimes repost my posts. Most of the time I post anything that came to my mind.

But then one day, I decided to attend this class on social media, I had to pay a lot , but I was determined. I paid for it. I wanted to find something else: something more meaningful, something that would make me feel like I was actually making a difference in in helping people.

I found myself connecting to more people all over the world. People who are like minded. People who understand, people who are like me. I loved being able to help people get sales just the way they liked it, and seeing them smile when they got exactly what they wanted.

Here are the things I did to help me reach more people (in stories):-

✅ Try to share 40% casual and normal stuffs about you, 40% informational and 20% promotional
✅ Keep the most important elements and details at the center so that people dont miss the message out!
✅ Use at least one or two engagement sticker per day
✅ Always have the end in mine which is to BUILD TRUST, STAND OUT, AND STAY ON TOP OF MIND

Owh yaa! Make sure each post includes a caption that describes what's going on in the photo, why it's relevant to them (the reader), and how they can relate to it. Do you still randomly send DMs to anybody? How many random DMs you send per day? Do you find that tiring?

Hmm… Lst’s try something new. Here are some much effective ways to try and connect with your followers. Socialize! You. jus.need.to.do.that!

Actual human interactions are still the best! Talk about similarities you have with your followers, and build relationship here in social media.

I have been ghost posting for a while now I want to change that. I have been trying this (for a few months) and I started to feel like it is growing my account as well!

You’re upset your story views went down? Read this on 👇

When my views are down, it’s usually because I’m not consistent with posting during my audiences peak time (especially during this fasting month, forgive me) or I’m posting in bunches and then ghosting for long stretches.

Part of this may be because your audience wants to see your face and interact with you the person, not just post shares and stickers, the data is telling you to show up more as a human.

But if you’re doing that and still stuck, Then try something like this:

8:00a - Post a todo list
10:00a - Share a tip that will help your audience
12:00p - Mid day break - share something that you’re doing to break up your day
2:00p - Go live or ask a question
4:00p - Progress check on your ToDo
6:00p - Share a tip
8:00p - Respond to those question or poll stickers
10:00p - night cap - Daily Summary recap

Of course this is just an example, but adapt it to what your niche wants and what times work best for you and you’ll see your views go up.
