As parents, one of the biggest questions we eventually face is: "Which university is right for my child?" But let’s be real, the conversation usually starts with a much tougher question: The Financials.
I’ve seen many parents (myself included!) willing to allocate massive sums for education, sometimes even at the cost of our own lifestyle or retirement plans. It’s a huge sacrifice.
My journey has been quite a unique experiment. I have three kids, and each took a completely different path:
🌍 One studied Overseas.
🏢 One is in a Local Private University. 🏛️
One is in a Local Public University.
People always ask me, "Which one is better?"
Here is my honest take: Exposure is not one-size-fits-all. Tertiary education overseas isn't "automatically" better than local. Each environment provides a different kind of growth.
🌏 Overseas builds independence and global networking.
🏠 Local Private offers a blend of industry-focused skills and local connections. 🇲
🇾 Local Public provides deep cultural grounding and resilience.
The most "suitable" university isn't the most expensive one, it’s the one that aligns with your child’s personality and your family's financial peace of mind. After all, everyone is different, and success doesn't have a single zip code.

很多人第一次踏入我们诊室时,都会带着一丝担忧问:“Dr,我最近连上下楼梯膝盖都很不舒服。你是不是准备给我开一堆止痛💊?”

每当听到这个问题,我都会笑着摇摇头。

其实,大家对运动医学(Sports Medicine)有一个很大的误解,以为我们只会“给💊”。但在我们的理念里,吃药往往是我们最少用的选项。💊❌
