While much of the world is enjoying the holidays and taking time to relax, the children of Activetalk English have come together to celebrate the joy of learning and growth through public speaking.
Malaysia is renowned for its rich cultural diversity and its pool of talented individuals who have the potential to excel on the world stage—especially with strong proficiency in English and other essential skills.
Today, here at AEON Mall Metro Prima, we are proud to provide a platform for the children of Activetalk English to express themselves and showcase their speaking abilities with confidence.
Public speaking requires intense focus on a goal, awareness of the steps needed to achieve it, and the courage to measure one’s progress along the way. It calls for determination—persisting despite setbacks and obstacles. This inner drive is what we often describe as “grit.”
Grit demands stamina, perseverance, and passion. It teaches us to keep our eyes on the distant goalpost, even when the journey becomes challenging. For many children, especially those with stage fright, this is not easy at all.
But don’t worry—Activetalk English is here to help. Our mission is to guide children toward expressing themselves fearlessly and confidently, one step at a time.

今天，我们齐聚在 AEON Metro Prima 商场，为 Activetalk English 的孩子们提供一个平台，让他们勇敢表达自我，展示自己的英语口语能力。
公众演讲需要对目标的高度专注，清楚了解达成目标的步骤，并愿意不断检视自己的进步。这需要坚定的意志，即使面对挫折和困难，也依然坚持向前。这种推动我们不断前行的力量，被称为 “毅力（Grit）”。
毅力意味着耐力、坚持不懈，以及对目标的热情。它让我们在道路艰辛时，依然紧盯远方的终点线。对许多孩子来说，尤其是害怕上台的孩子，这绝非易事。
但请放心，Activetalk English 会一路陪伴他们。我们的目标，是帮助孩子们无畏地、自信地表达自己。

Here we are at Aeon Mall Bukit Tinggi. We provide a platform for the kids in Activetalk English to express and showcase their speaking capability.

This requires an intense focus on their goal, an awareness of the steps needed to get there, and an openness to measure showing how they are doing toward the goal. This includes doggedness, persisting toward the goal despite setback and obstacles. That's the part of the drive to achieve that has been the focus of the concept of "grit".

Grit demands stamina, perseverance, and passion for a goal, letting us keep our eye on reaching that distant goalpost even when the going gets tough. This does not come easy especially for kids with stage flights.

Don't worry. Activetalk English is here to help them to achieve their goal: to express themselves fearlessly and confidently. We rewarded them with Christmas goodies and MCD food. We manage to help them to grow and excel in their life as they move ahead in their life smoothly.
