When eating becomes difficult due to illness, families must navigate added care needs alongside emotional and financial responsibilities.

For patients battling conditions like throat cancer, survival just depends on tube feeding — a necessity that comes with high and ongoing costs. For caregivers, this is one more worry added to an already overwhelming journey.

The 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 exists to support patients with serious conditions like throat cancer, easing the burden on families when they need it most.

Today was one of those moments that will stay with us for a long time. SMK Bukit Kepayang invited us to join their 𝐏𝐏𝐊𝐈 (𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐢) 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧), where five of the students Alpro Foundation sponsors under the Glowing Stars Project were recognized.

Every part of the event reflected heart and effort. The gifts — handmade by the PPKI students using recycled materials — reminded us how creativity and resilience can bloom anywhere. We were grateful to reward our Glowing Stars students and to be part of the celebration as they completed another milestone in their syllabus.

Through regular conversations, we understand their challenges at school and at home.

A RM100 monthly allowance helps reduce daily struggles so they can focus on learning and enjoying school.
3️⃣ 𝐖𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬
Whether they aim to be teachers, doctors, police officers, engineers, or are still exploring, we remind them their dreams matter.
