In today's challenging economic climate, the cost of groceries and basic necessities continues to rise, making them increasingly unaffordable for many. Today was truly meaningful and special, as we had the privilege of distributing 180 food baskets to families in need in Penang just before Hari Raya. Initially, our plan was to collect only 100-120 food baskets for the families of our children. However, due to the overwhelming response, we were able to gather 180 food baskets and increase the value of each to RM80. We are immensely grateful to the entire SelflessTogether team, who went above and beyond to reach out to their friends and families, as well as to all the wonderful people who shared and forwarded our messages. 🩵 A special thanks goes to our amazing sponsors and donors, whose generosity made this possible. We are so touched by the kindness you have all shown. We are also grateful to Mr. Dinesh from Setia Jaya Mini Market for his accommodating and professional handling of the preparation and delivery of groceries. ❤️ Of course, we cannot forget the amazing team of teachers and students who helped managed the food distribution today. 🩷 This was truly an amazing team effort from everyone involved, and we are incredibly grateful for this day. Witnessing the joy on the faces of those receiving food this Raya was priceless. To each and every one of you who contributed, thank you for making Raya a little more special for these families.
