Dear friends – I will have the pleasure of attending the 2026 edition of BuMI Festival at (Penang, Malaysia), where I will offer the healing and powerful echoes of the fujara through several sessions, including an immersive sound healing experience in collaboration with in the heart of the gardens.

The fujara (loosely translated: “fuu” = an onomatopoeic imitation of the blowing wind, “jar” = spring) is a traditional, large overtone flute that originated in central Slovakia. Once a pastoral instrument associated with shepherds, it is renowned for its deep, resonant tones and imposing size (ranging from 1.6 to 2 meters). It produces a haunting, meditative sound built on natural harmonics, with only three finger holes used to guide the melodies. The fujara has become a symbol of Slovak cultural identity and was recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2008.

Dear friends – It is with great joy and gratitude that I am releasing today my debut album, AIKYA, a journey of organic soundscapes and resonances shaped by the healing breath of the fujara.

The birth of this first record traces back to an idea that first emerged five years ago, when I was still playing the Native American flute and had yet to encounter the wild spirit of the fujara. Life passed, and I deliberately set the idea aside, choosing instead to be a student of surrender, serendipity, and spontaneity, resolving not to bend creativity to my will. I cultivate the belief that the quiescent things of this world blossom most fully under such conditions, nourished by the most heartfelt intention. And indeed, unexpectedly, the magic unfolded last year during a visit to Japan in summer, in the most natural and effortless way, carried along by the soothing echoes of the cicadas. A blessing from the unseen, where everything was perfectly aligned, allowing me to humbly honor the unique and deep presence of the fujara.

Recorded acoustically in one single session and entirely
self-produced, AIKYA is my modest gift to you and to the world. It is for everyone.
It is for everything.

« AIKYA — meaning “oneness” or “unity” in Sanskrit — is a musical journey that weaves together moments of stillness and resonance through the unique and healing essence of the fujara. Recorded acoustically in Japan during the slow summer of 2025, it reflects the meeting point between the inner and outer worlds, where sound becomes a bridge for contemplation and connection. Through an eclectic range of organic tones and spacious melodies, Phayan’s debut album evokes a sense of presence and wholeness, inviting you to experience the quiet harmony that flows within all things. »

這張首作的誕生，可追溯至五年前的一個念頭。當時我仍在演奏北美原住民長笛，尚未邂逅富亞拉那野性而深邃的靈魂。時光流轉，我刻意將這個想法暫時擱置，選擇成為臣服、機緣與自發性的學生，並下定決心不以意志強行塑造創作。我始終相信，世間一切靜默之物，唯有在這樣的狀態中，並由最真誠的意念所滋養，才能綻放得最為完整。果然，在去年夏天造訪日本之際，魔法以最自然、最毫不費力的方式悄然展開——伴隨著蟬鳴溫柔的回響。一份來自無形之境的祝福，萬事齊備，讓我得以謙卑地致敬富亞拉獨特而深沉的存在。

《AIKYA》全程以原聲方式，在單一場次中完成錄製，並完全由我自行製作。這是我獻給你們、也獻給這個世界的一份樸實禮物。
