Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As an IT Operations & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, management, and daily operation of servers. Your role will involve evaluating, monitoring, and optimizing server performance, as well as promptly resolving server errors and failures. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in disaster recovery planning, ensuring regular data backups, and conducting disaster recovery drills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and ensure the smooth daily operation of servers.
• Evaluate, monitor, and optimize server performance to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Promptly identify and resolve server errors and failures to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a strong understanding of disaster recovery principles, regularly backup data, and conduct drills to ensure effective recovery.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance system performance and scalability.
• Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity practices, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate measures to prevent security breaches.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, make critical decisions, and solve problems under high-pressure situations.
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail, a patient demeanor, and a high level of responsibility in all tasks.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in a computer-related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in basic Linux system operations, including familiarity with common commands, architecture, and principles.
• Ability to use Bash Shell/Python to perform basic operations and maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with common monitoring tools and software.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under high-pressure situations.
• Self-motivated and able to quickly learn new technologies and keep up with the pace of technological advancements.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
