The Kuching HairDresser Association has announced the S.O.P for all barber shops and hair salons:

1. Premise needs to clearly state the number of customer allowed at a time to meet social incarceration requirements.

2. Seat layout has to be with 2 meters distance between seats.

3. Outdoor seating is arranged for customers by social distance.

4. Encourage digital payments.

5. Encourage to use service via booking.

6. Scissors should use face masks, face protectors, disposable gloves and disposable apron when cutting client's hair.

7. Only haircut activities and hair products selling are allowed.

8. No food and drinks are allowed on the premises.

9. Use disposable apron for customers.

10. Air conditioner are allowed but at the same time, windows, doors and ventilators must be opened.

11. Require the use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or provide a hand washing area with soap.

12. Using detergent liquid with sodium hypochlorite content according to MOH guidelines. Customer's seat is cleaned after each service.

14. Individuals of 12 years old and below & 60 years old and above are not allowed to enter the premise.
