Honoured to have been part of the conversation at the Town Hall Consultation Session for Civil Society and Environmental NGOs organised by Climate Governance Malaysia.

The session brought together passionate voices across the climate space, united by a common goal: to accelerate action through collaboration, accountability, and a shared sense of urgency. A few key reflections stood out:

1. Personal experience is a powerful catalyst – It is often those who have witnessed or been directly affected by climate change who are moved to act. But we must not wait for crisis to drive change.

2. Good governance is the foundation of effective climate action – Without clear direction, transparency, and enforcement, even the best strategies risk remaining on paper.

3. A mindset shift is essential – We must move from short-term profitability to long-term value creation that prioritises environmental protection and sustainability at its core.

This session was a strong reminder that we play a critical role in shaping the systems and values that define our future.
