We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Group Managing Director, YBhg Dato’ Imran Salim, on being conferred the prestigious Darjah Kebesaran Dato’ – Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (DSIS) in conjunction with the 80th birthday celebration of DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj. The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) have entered into a strategic collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchange at the MIDA Gears Up for Flagship Central Region Programme 2025.

The MoU — exchanged between Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim, Chief Operating Officer of MIDA, and Datuk Imran Salim, Group Managing Director of MRCB — was witnessed by YB Senator Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

Initiated by MIDA, this partnership aims to strengthen Malaysia’s investment ecosystem across the Central Region — Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Melaka — by connecting policy with on-ground delivery.

Under this partnership, MIDA leads investment promotion, while MRCB delivers on-ground implementation, transforming opportunities into high-impact industrial and technology developments. Leveraging its “Build-and-Lease” model, MRCB enables investors to establish operations with minimal upfront cost — offering ready infrastructure, faster delivery, and seamless regulatory facilitation as a trusted GLC developer.

Through this collaboration, MIDA’s leadership in investment promotion comes together with MRCB’s proven capability in developing large-scale, sustainable projects to create an integrated platform for investors to identify, locate, and execute projects efficiently.
