“Misi Meow Makan: Love from the Community.” 🐾

Love is shared. Tummies are filled. Values are nurtured.

This initiative is part of MPU 3422 – Community Service, in line with the spirit of UPNM30, which aims to nurture compassion, social responsibility, and community values among students.

Misi Meow Makan was carried out starting from Pekan Sungai Besi, continued to Pasar Seni, and concluded in Kampung Baru, focusing on the distribution of food to stray cats as a symbol of empathy, care, and kindness towards vulnerable members of the community.

The program involved students from the Operations Research with Data Science programme, Department of Defence Science, Faculty of Defence Science and Technology, UPNM. The participants were Dania Balqis, Nur Atikah, Nur Syaza Iwana, Nursyasya Farzana, Yusra Haziqah, and Natasha Zidni ‘Ilma, under Ts. Dr. Syarifah Bahiyah Rahayu, lecturer for this course.

This initiative was made possible through the support of the local community and sponsorship from Koperasi Tentera, demonstrating how unity and collaboration can create meaningful impact.

Because every meal carries hope, and love always begins with the community.

Fakulti merakamkan ucapan setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada staf akademik Fakulti Sains & Teknologi Pertahanan yang telah berjaya dinaikkan pangkat ke jawatan Profesor Madya Gred DS14.

Semoga kenaikan pangkat ini akan terus memperkukuh kesarjanaan Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) serta mempertingkatkan kecemerlangan akademik dan tadbir urus universiti.
