Last week, Fugee School had the opportunity to host an Exchange Theatre session in collaboration with Cultural Impact, creating a space for students and teachers to engage in meaningful conversations through experiential learning 🎭

The session brought together our upper secondary students in a guided, interactive showcase where they explored real-life scenarios, reflected on different perspectives, and actively participated in discussions around understanding, empathy, and communication.

Following the student showcase, our teachers also took part in a dedicated session and post-show discussion with the actors and director, reflecting on their observations, reactions, and how these approaches could potentially be adapted within the classroom environment.

More than just a performance, the session served as an important starting point for deeper conversations around intercultural understanding, student engagement, and creating safer, more inclusive learning spaces within refugee education.

A huge thank you to Cultural Impacts for facilitating this thoughtful and engaging experience with our school community. We look forward to the continued conversations and learning that will grow from this initiative ✨
