It means increase in built up area or more number of rooms has higher value than fluted panels or gold plated ceiling around the interior. . - Focus on practicality instead of trend. Arch dividers, curved wall edges, gold trimmings will only be as valuable as the next buyer perceives them to be. Looking back at mansions 10 years ago in today’s context, most of us rather build from scratch than to pay ‘premium’ on their ID treatments. . - Renovation beyond needs are expenses. So execute them with the purpose of enjoyment rather than expecting them to generate returns. . Just because you spent RM 500k several years ago does not necessarily mean your property is worth RM500k more than your neighbour.
