Coming weekend, 14-15 June, I am having a special session, in honour & memory of my father, I am giving free portrait session to families of three generation, as long as Papa is there. If not a portrait of the deceased would also suffice. Also a special prop, my first bicycle would be present. I've just installed a picture rail, to inspect the finished print. Will prepare the booking form soon with more info

Photo Portrait archive- BEST find so far!

I've been collecting over the years, some samples of different photographic prints, just to have a sample of the photography culture & heritage we have here in Malaysia. One of my favourites are photography paintings, a very unique retouching to the point of being entirely a painting, but it is a photographic print base.

This specimen, the biggest I have now, is by a very good master, colours are bring, layers are thick, details are fine, will study these and many more.

I have been putting together a plan for a Photo Restoration Volunteer Club, to look into deciphering, creating narratives of these prints, restorung & archiving my little collection. It was born out of the necessity of trying to preserve old prints, and another knowledge/ skill-sharing initiative. Anybody like to join the PRV club?

Will eventually have a little physical, on-site exhibition, maybe an online gallery viewing too for those abroad.
