Female proboscis monkeys are smaller than males and lack the species' famous oversized nose. Living in harem groups led by a dominant male, females spend much of their day foraging on leaves, seeds, and unripe fruit in the forests and mangroves of Borneo. Their complex stomachs help them digest tough plant material that many other primates cannot.

The Thick-billed Green-Pigeon is easily recognised by its distinctive bicoloured bill and bright green eye-ring. Despite its stocky appearance, it is a relatively small pigeon, measuring less than 26 cm in length.
Found across parts of Southeast Asia, including Borneo, Sumatra and the Malay Peninsula, this canopy-dwelling species spends much of its time feeding on fruit high in the forest canopy. Seven subspecies are currently recognised.

Sun bears, the smallest of all bear species, are named for the pale golden crescent on their chest - a marking unique to each individual ☀️ Native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, they are agile climbers and use their long claws and powerful limbs to scale trees in search of fruit, termites, and honey. Their tongues can reach up to 24cm long.

The Red Leaf Langur earns its name from the shade of its vibrant reddish-brown fur and the abundant foliage that compromises the majority of its diet. Also known as the Red Leaf Monkey, Maroon Monkey, or Maroon Langur. This old world colobine has a chambered stomach similar to a cow which helps them digest and break down the fibrous leaves and seeds they consume.
