E-Waste Collection Community Service Program

Organised by: SCS

🔷 Program Overview
The E-Waste Collection Community Service Program was successfully conducted over a period of two (2) days, achieving the collection of more than five (5) tons of electronic waste per day.

This program is a biannual initiative organised by SCS and has been implemented consistently for over thirteen (13) years since 2012, demonstrating SCS’s sustained commitment to environmental protection and community well-being.

🔶 Objectives
The primary objectives of the program are as follows:
1. To promote responsible and environmentally sustainable disposal of electronic waste.
2. To raise public awareness on the environmental and health risks associated with improper e-waste disposal.
3. To encourage community participation in maintaining a cleaner and greener environment.

🟥 Program Impact
The program has significantly contributed to:
• Reducing improper disposal of electronic waste within the community.
• Improving public understanding of environmentally friendly waste management practices.
• Supporting national and local efforts towards environmental sustainability and public health.
