DIVE INTO ROBOTICS 2024: SUMO ROBOT

Second edition (Sumo Robot) of Dive into Robotics 2024 by UMS Robotics Club!

A whopping 23 teams from high schools across Sabah joined the venture in exposing robotics to younger generations. Fun, insightful experience was delivered. Healthy competition spirit was instilled, challenging oneself in robotics since a young age 💪

UMS Robotics Club received a very encouraging visit from the aspiring Robotics Club of SM Sains Sabah, Tuaran with their very supportive teacher! We delivered insightful robotics information suitable for budding beginners, and did a small demo of our work-in-progress navigation base, as well as a mobile-app controlled car. One of our talented members, Ghazali had also taken the initiative to draw up and 3D print the SMESH logo, to ignite some interest in 3D modelling & printing towards the students!

We hope it was an enjoyable and inspiring visit, fellow next-gens 😊

Dive into Robotics: Line Tracer & Sumo Robot

UMS Robotics Club, in conjunction with U-Science UMS, is broadening the robotics horizon with a workshop & competition of two robot categories (Line Tracer & Sumo Robot). Regardless if you're a curious beginner who needs more exposure or an aspiring enthusiast, all high school levels are welcome to join!

All materials will be provided, all you need is a laptop & a mind ready to learn 🤓
