Value vs Price.

People often choose value over price,
consciously or unconsciously.

The moment before we decide to spend our money, we will think about details behind the seller, the worry we might have regarding the products, or the product itself. In this case, geckos. Which is a living creature.

Naturally people have more worry or concern before spending on a living thing compared to non-living things.
The commitments on the lil creature, the health, the diet, is it eating well? Or even pooping fine?

To us as a breeder & seller, we’d be lying to say money is not great. Surely we would be happy to be able to sell our animals at desired price, but what means more to us is having people who understand the value of our work, dedication, passion & commitment in this hobby.

Money does play a big part in everything including this exotic animals hobby, but the trust of our customers, the satisfaction of them after receiving the animals from us means so much more than money. What’s 500? Or even 1000? People can always earn more amount of money. But the trust? The satisfaction? Being the ignition of someone’s passion for this hobby or being the reason people kept their passion in this hobby?

Priceless.

Why you should never give up on broken eggs.

It was unfortunate, we provided laying box for the female but she laid eggs outside the box, and one of the eggs was bitten by mealworms.

A small part of the egg was broken, the fluids came out.
But we decided to give it a chance so we continue to put the egg into the incubator.

As the days goes by, we noticed the fluid that were outside the eggs became solid, and mold started to grow, other than that, the rest of the eggs were fine. So we just wipe the mold off with tissue.

We weren’t exactly counting the days of incubation. One morning we were checking the incubator for hatchlings, we found a good surprise. A gecko hatched out from the eggs with mold outside! And the baby looks healthy.

How nature works is truly amazing. We would imagine the mold would get into the eggs and affect the embryo, but it says otherwise!
