My greatest gratitude goes to the core committee, who were the engine of this entire project. Throughout the 9 months, the commitment is a prove of our serving hearts, character, and accountability. I am glad to have worked with a team who chose to stay and build, even when things got complicated; trusting the process, more importantly, trusting each other. I guessed, we had created something truly amazing, built by small missing pieces, together. It is not perfect, but I could not have asked for a better team to support me.
To my hand-picked committee: nothing would have been the same if the team weren't YOU within. I am filled with gratitude to be able to say something truly rare: "Day 1, full team. Last day, full team." In a world where commitments are so easily to be said than done, especially since we are all volunteers, your constant presence was the ultimate sign of respect from me. To some, this wasn't just about showing up; it was about being fully present for each other through every milestone of our project. To mentors and advisors, you challenged me to the core to make a difference. Some lessons that are worth a while, how to filter out the noise, focus on what truly matters, and let go of what doesn't, simple words but huge difference.
This journey also highlighted the beauty of the "One Year To Lead" practice in JCI —adapting to new leadership and embracing a 'new' direction of the leader. Some of you joined this journey on faith alone, trusting in me before you even understand what is the funding ecosystem and all the sudden, the jargon of the industry overwhelmed you. Trust is a big big word, BUT, you all are like Santa Claus, giving it to me.
I hope the token of my appreciation keeps you warm. Thank you for everything. ❤️🐣
