UMP BADMINTON OPEN 2018 is an annually badminton tournament organized by a bunch of students that shows their high enthusiasm in badminton. It aims to provide a stage for badminton players in Malaysia, especially players from East Coast Region, to show off their skills in badminton. Last two years, they managed to attract participants from Pahang, Johor, Terengganu, Sarawak and Selangor area, along with positive feedback from all participants during the years organizing this event.

Their objective is to make UMP Badminton Open a highly anticipated annual national sporting event in East Coast Region. Therefore, they are working harder with the hope to reach out to more participants from every parts of Malaysia area such as Kelantan, Terengganu, Kuala Lumpur, Perak and Johor area.
