27 days before our 2-day District Metered Area (DMA) course in Kuching.

Under the new HRD Corp rule, grant applications are now required to be submitted 14 calendar days before the training date, compared to the previous practice which allowed applications even 1 day before the event.

We understand this change may affect public training programs like ours, especially based on previous experience where many registrations are usually confirmed within the final week before the course.

We trust the industry will continue to support this transition and hopefully it will not affect the long-term development of technical training programs for the water industry.

As for now, this course remains open for water operators and government-related agencies only.

Yesterday, we concluded a 1-day workshop, “Understanding NRW & Its Components – A Hands-on Workshop on IWA Water Balance & ILI Calculation” with Jabatan Air Sabah, held at LA Hotel, Tawau.

This marks our second session, following the successful completion of the first group on 15 April at Sheraton Kota Kinabalu.

This workshop did not just cover Water Balance and ILI. We went deeper into why NRW develops—from perspectives that are often overlooked, not just the conventional understanding. In reality, NRW is not purely a technical issue. It is shaped by decisions, operational practices, and how the system is managed over time.
