Off the clock, on the court.

TEAM SPORT | We spend our days designing spaces people love coming home to. Turns out we also love leaving the office. This is what the Ethnic ID team looks like when the drawings are done and the courts are calling — pickleball, bad shots, and a lot of group chat drama about who won.
Good design needs a good team. Good teams need days like this.

The details that stop you in the hallway.

DROP ZONE | Most foyers get a shelf and a hook. This one got a fully considered drop zone built into the partition column — recessed niche with a sintered stone ledge, under-cabinet strip light casting warm amber across the surface, matte cabinet doors above and below in a dusty slate finish. A small eucalyptus stem and reed diffuser sitting in the corner because the first thing you smell when you walk in matters too. The kind of detail most people walk past without knowing why the house feels different.

This bedroom was designed to feel like switching off.

Rest Earned | Slate-grey upholstered headboard framed by a curved oak panel that wraps softly into a floating bedside ledge. A brass pendant with a porcelain ruffle shade dropping at just the right height. Cove light tracing the ceiling edge in warm amber — enough to read by, calm enough to sleep under.

Linen-textured wardrobe panel facing the bed, oak grain behind. Every material chosen to lower the temperature of the room the moment you walk in.

You'd never know it was there.

Hidden Wardrobe | Full-height joinery running wall to wall — oak grain on one side, linen-textured panel on the other. The bathroom entrance sits flush within the wardrobe frame, no frame gap, no visible hinge. Walk past it and you'd think it was just another door panel. That's exactly the point.
